Animal volunteers
Every Saturday morning you have the opportunity to join us on our farm and interact with our amazing rescue animals. You can take our lovely dogs for walkies; you can brush and cuddle them.
We are open from 8am–11am, and only 40 minutes north of Cape Town via the N7. Please contact our volunteer co-ordinators for dogs: Grenville: grenville@dassenbergrescue.org and Sonja: sonja@dassenbergrescue.org

If you are a registered child therapist or social worker looking to donate your time to our programmes, please get in touch. We also welcome enthusiastic volunteers who’d like to help with various activities – from delivering food parcels to general assistance.

FUNDRAISING
Fundraising can take many forms and is probably the one area in which we need the most help, we are always looking for new ideas for fundraising and welcome fresh ideas.

In kind donations of second hand goods which are sold for funds are so appreciated, we collect from you.

Ask friends and family to make a donation to Dassenberg Rescue Centre in lieu of a gift.
RENOVATING YOUR HOME?
We would put old and new building material to good use as our Centre is in constant need of maintenance
WANT TO ORGANIZE AN EVENT?
Your effort, no matter how small, makes a big difference to us. Whether it’s a cupcake sale at school or a full scale fundraising event, we will partner and assist where we can.
Funds raised will go towards feeding our rescue animals, covering vet bills for animals in need, maintenance to our centre and also towards running our Out Reach Programmes.
SKILLS TRANSFER
Our team is made up of a small group of permanent staff who have their hands full. If you have a skill to offer and would like to assist us in the work that we do, we would love to hear from you.
