Dassenberg is a non-profit company, who receive no Government funding that results us in relying heavily on donations and income of the public. Just to give you an idea, our food bill alone runs over R13 000 a month and then we have not counted in groomers, medical expenses or general maintenance.

We’re looking for the best kind of people. Animal people.

Every Saturday morning you have the opportunity to join us on our farm and interact with our amazing rescue animals. You can take our lovely dogs for walkies, brush and cuddle them. They’ll love you for it. Our horses too! We are open from 8am -11am, and only 40 minutes north from Cape Town via the N7. Please contact our volunteer team at:
